Welcome to your new reality.
For four unforgettable days and nights, we journey deep into the heart of The Forest, leaving the outside world behind.
Whether this is your first time or your long-awaited reunion with your Forbidden Family, here is everything you need to know to make this the weekend of a lifetime.
Your weekend starts NOW. You’ve memorised the lineup, circled your favourite artists, now it’s time to download The Forbidden Forest app to:
- View set times
- Create your personal schedule
- Explore the festival map and get your bearings
- Receive festival updates and announcements
- Listen to the FF25 playlist
Be sure to enable push notifications so you don’t miss anything you need to know across the weekend too!
We’ve already checked the forecast for the end of this month and it looks AMAZING but we all know what British weather can be like and no, it does not care about your outfit. Be sure to bring:
- Layers (for the cold nights!)
- Wellies / Strong boots
- Ponchos / Waterproof Clothing
- Sunglasses & Suncream
- Something cosy for the afters
Trust us, being over prepared is much better than being cold and muddy.
You’re absolutely going to smash your 10k step count here. The Forest Floor can be uneven in places so leave the strappy sandals at home and opt for practical, comfy shoes that can go the distance.
Don’t ruin your weekend by ruining your feet.
The LAST thing you want when you arrive on site for the best weekend of your life is realising you can’t get your tent up. Believe us, it’s a common problem and happens more often than you think. Test your tent before you travel to make sure it all works as it should.
Still tentless? Check out The Forbidden Retreat here with pre-pitched and premium options – no setup stress required.
Nature is beautiful, but can also be dirty. Be sure to bring:
- Biodegradable wipes
- Hand sanitiser
- Dry shampoo
- Toothpaste & Toothbrush
Take things even further and upgrade to luxury with When Nature Calls – warm showers, posh loos and pamper stations fit for a queen and queen. Head over to their website here to book now.
Your bags are packed, you’ve got your ticket and your lift to Belvoir Castle is sorted. That’s it, right?
Almost! Now is the time to start thinking about how you’re getting home on either Sunday night or Monday morning. All Weekend Camping ticket holders need to be off-site by 12PM (midday) on Monday 2rd June so planning in advance is essential.
Need a lift? Book return travel with Big Green Coach – shuttles and coaches run directly from the site. Find out more here.
Depending on when you’re arriving, you may face long queues and checks getting into the festival site. Be ready by:
- Downloading your ticket before you arrive
- Having your matching ID ready to show
- Bring everything you need – there is NO re-entry once you’re inside
- Don’t bring any prohibited items, these will be confiscated. You can check out the full lists here:
Arena Prohibited Items
Campsite Prohibited Items
The Forest is a labyrinth of nature, music & magic. When you arrive, explore the full site and pick a meeting point with your crew in case you get separated.
There are free water refill points across the festival site – bring a reusable water bottle and drink often, especially when the sun is shining.
Four days of straight dancing takes its toll – stay hydrated to keep moving.
The Forest welcomes everybody, from all walks of life and every background. It’s a place for self-expression, connection and community.
Whoever you are, however you dance, whatever you listen to – you are welcome here.
No judgement. No egos. Just music, freedom and your Forbidden Family.
Dancing burns a lot of energy, so you need to keep that body fuelled to keep on moving from day into night. Lucky for you we’ve handpicked some of the best street food traders from all across the UK for you to enjoy!
Veggie, vegan, gluten-free & plenty of meat options are all available.
You may think Belvoir Castle has nothing but rolling hills in close proximity, but their on-site Bistro and Farm Shop, The Engine Yard, will be open from 8am each day of the festival. This will be the closest available place outside of the festival site to get food and drink for when you’re travelling to or from Forbidden Forest this year.
Not just to your phone, but to reality too. Always be aware of your surroundings and your impact to others. We’re all here to experience the ultimate journey so be sure to help others along the way.
If someone looks lost or needs help, look for a member of the Forbidden Forest team and we’ll be there to help in any way we can.
The Forest is sacred and we want everyone to treat it that way. This year, we’ve revamped our sustainability policy which you can find here but we want all people to:
- Take home EVERYTHING you brought with you
- Use the bins and recycling points provided
- Respect the land we dance on
We want to protect The Forest and return every year. Help us make that possible.
SEE YOU IN THE FOREST
It’s nearly time. Whether you’re here for the music, the vibes or just the freedom – you’re now part of something special.
Welcome to Forbidden Forest 2025
