BAG POLICY

As a condition of entry, all persons entering the festival are subject to security searches for prohibited and illegal items.

For security reasons, campers can bring a small suitcase or duffle bag into the campsite. You must be able to carry all your belongings in one trip as you will not be allowed to leave the campsite to go back to your car and then re-enter. The event has a strict no re-entry policy.

When entering the Main Arena, all bags must be smaller than an A4 sized piece of paper and there is a limit of one bag per person.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Please click here for a full breakdown of what you cannot bring with you into the campsite. Please note that disposable BBQs are strictly prohibited from the campsite.

CASHLESS

Forbidden Forest is a cashless event so debit/credit card or Apple/Google Pay will only be accepted.

MEDICAL & WELFARE

The Welfare and Medical Tent is located beside the arena entrance and is open 24 hours and is staffed by experienced doctors, staff and supportive people.

They can provide confidential advice about drugs, alcohol, legal highs and sexual health, and offer support if you need to talk.

They offer a monitored rest and recovery area if you’ve overdone it. A quiet sensory space is also available at Welfare for anyone who needs a calmer environment to rest or take a break.

The Medical and Welfare tents are clearly labelled on our site map. Please go to the Welfare or Medical tent if you experience any problems or need to talk to someone for any reason, no matter how small it may seem. Do not wait for symptoms to get worse before seeking help.

BE SAFE, BE SOUND

Follow safety advice from Leicestershire Policing

– Be patient with security checks, they’re there to keep you safe.
– Tell security if you see something out of place or something that doesn’t feel right.
– For more information, head over to their website here.

ASK FOR ANGELA

Do you feel like you’re not in a safe situation?
Approach a member of the bar or security and Ask For Angela. Staff will immediately know you need help and will be able to get you out of the situation safely and discreetly.

STAY HYDRATED

There are free water points dotted around the entire festival site so please make use of them. The weather can be unpredictable so be sure to bring a refillable water bottle and stay hydrated for the entire festival.

LEAVE AS YOU FIND IT

The Forest is our home for four nights so let’s treat it that way. Use the recycling bins provided, pack up and take ALL your belongings with you, including your tent and of course, be respectful to the other festival goers and surrounding residents.

GETTING BACK HOME

If you haven’t already, it’s time to organise how you’re getting home from Forbidden Forest.

Taxis will be very limited on-site for 2026 so we highly recommend booking your shuttle bus ticket  here to ensure you don’t get stuck on-site.

LOST PROPERTY

Forbidden Forest advises all festival goers to ensure they keep their belongings on their person at all times. Any valuables should be left at home. If you lose something or if anything is stolen, please head to the lost property area, located next to Welfare.

Campsite lockers are available on-site and will be available to rent for the entire weekend.

After the event, please fill out the Forbidden Forest form found here: https://eventswellbeing.co.uk/lost-property

LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER

Forbidden Forest takes place in a large multi-arenas location. Please follow these tips to look out for each other;

– Before heading to the event, please ensure that your phone is fully charged. Phone charging facilities can also be found in the campsite near the lockers.
– Agree on a meeting point in case you become separated from your friends.
– We advise you to not make your own way home / leave the venue on your own.

LOCAL AREA

Please be aware that Belvoir Castle is a little bit out of the way of shops and restaurants, so be sure to stock up before you arrive.

Please note: Once you have entered the festival site, you cannot leave to go to any shop and then return. If you require anything from here, please visit before you enter the festival site.
