ACCESSIBILITY

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

If you would prefer to speak to somebody, please email us on with your name and contact information and we will be happy to arrange a time to call.

accessibility@forbidden-forest.co.uk

Before deciding whether to attend Forbidden Forest Festival, we would like to make all accessibility customers aware of the landscape across the site. Forbidden Forest Festival is set within woodland, presenting steep inclines, tree rooted areas and the potential for heavily waterlogged ground depending on the weather. This has the potential to impact wheelchair users and/or mobility scooter users or those with limited mobility.

We are continually working to make adjustments to the site and improve the accessibility features and facilities in place; this includes a dedicated team of accessibility sta who will be available should you need assistance whilst at the festival.

You will need both your ticket reference number & Access Card or DAP number in order to complete your form.

If you require an essential companion to attend with you, please do not purchase a ticket for your companion as this will be provided free of charge if con rmed and approved. Please be aware that tickets for essential companions cannot be refunded after application.

Once you have both, we ask you to please return to the Accessibility Facilities Request Form, which will go live on this page on Monday 16 March.

NIMBUS ACCESS CARD

Nimbus is one of the largest awarded disability accreditation organisations working to improve accessibility at music events and festivals and we are very pleased to be working alongside them this year, utilising their Access Card Scheme.

This scheme is designed for all customers who require adjustments to make their visit more comfortable, such as essential companion tickets, access to viewing areas, accessible entrances, BSL interpretation and other reasonable adjustments. By partnering with Nimbus Disability, a leading authority on accessible ticketing, run by and for disabled people, we can better understand and meet your access requirements in a consistent and secure manner. This also helps to protect these provisions from potential misuse.

Once you apply, Nimbus will award you symbols based on your accessible requirements; this will in turn advise your Accessibility Facilities Request Form for attending Forbidden Forest.

Don’t have an Access Card?

If you don’t have an Access Card, our partners at Nimbus can undertake a free application for you to obtain a Forbidden Forest Festival Digital Access Pass (DAP) so you can request accessible facilities during the event. You can apply for the free Forbidden Forest Festival Digital Access Pass (DAP) HERE.

Once your application has been completed, please return to this page and ll out the Accessible Facilities Request Form once live on Monday 16 March.

Once you have applied and it has been approved, the ID number issued will be valid for 3 years and can be used for future Forbidden Forest Festivals.

There is also the option to upgrade to an Access Card for £15.00 should you wish to apply for broader recognition.

The Access Card is a universal way of conveying your access needs that clearly communicates your requirements to thousands of organisations, venues, events, and ticketing systems across the UK and beyond.

For more information about the Access Card & their symbols, please visit the website here.

The accessibility team will review your application and come back to you on email with confirmation of your approved facilities within 7 working days.
